Rotax & Gladiators Inter-Club Challenge in July.
Toowoomba is hosting the Rotax and Gladiators Inter-Club Challenge at Greer Park Raceway on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July. This will be a two day event.
In addition to the Inter-Club Challenge classes, we are offering racing for Midgets, Rookies, and Junior Evo Light and Heavy.
There will not be any TAG 125 classes on offer, whether open or restricted, as the timetable and number of entries across Rotax and Clubman classes will not allow us the ability to combine sufficient classes to complete the racing program.
Practice is open to all classes up to lunch time on Saturday. Racing will commence with 2 heats for the 4 Junior classes at 1pm on Saturday, with two controlled practice sessions for the Rotax and Gladiator classes scheduled during Saturday afternoon.
The Rotax and Gladiator classes will headline racing on Sunday, with a carby session rolling straight into timed qualifying first up, followed by 4 heats of racing. The 4 junior classes will complete their final 2 heats during Sunday also.
Nestled at the base of the Great Dividing Range at Helidon (just down the road from Toowoomba), lies the home of Go Kart Racing for Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley. Greer Park Raceway adopts it's name from the orginal owners of the land that hosts our club, and undergos constant up grading and maintenance from a loyal band of club members, sponsors and friends. We meet on a monthly basis to race against karters from all areas and across all classes,, with practice sessions on weeknds and other times as allowed by our local council. Karting is the birth place of many well known professional race drivers, many of whom still enjoy our sport, and nurturing others from the entry level class of Midgets, right through to highly comptetetive class at senior levels.
